Supreme Air Fryer English Muffin Pizza
A simple and tasty loaded Air Fryer English Muffins Pizza recipe that’s on the table in 10 minutes or less with 20 grams of protein per serving.
Sometimes the pizza craving strikes and we need pizza on the fly. In addition to my beloved barbecue chicken flatbread pizza, these English muffin pizzas are a life-saver on busy days. My mom used to make these for me when I was growing up, and I’ve passed on the tradition with my own kiddos. Kids love DIY pizza night, so why not let them make their own English muffin pizzas?! This fun meal will encourage kids to eat their veggies. Having lots of chopped fresh produce will entice them to load up and get crazy with their creations.
Even if you’re not cooking for a family, who doesn’t love a 10-minute meal?! Pair these personal-size pizzas with my favorite copycat Olive Garden salad to pack some extra veggie power.

How To Make English Muffin Pizza In The Air Fryer
Step 1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
Step 2. Toast the English muffins. Split the English muffins in half, lightly spray with the olive oil spray, and air fry for 2 minutes to lightly toast.
Step 3. Assemble the pizzas. Top each muffin half with a tablespoon of sauce, followed by the cheese, then arrange the toppings.
Step 4. Air fry the pizza. Cook the pizzas for 3-4 minutes more, until the cheese is melted and toppings are cooked. Work in batches, if needed. Time can vary depending on the type of air fryer you are using.
How To Make Monster Face Air Fryer Pizzas
Monster face pizzas were one of our Halloween food traditions when my kids were little. It was a quick and easy dinner where I could get a little nutrition in their bodies before they loaded up with candy. They loved arranging the vegetable slices to make a crazy monster face. It’s a really fun way to help kids eat more vegetables and get creative in the kitchen.
Recipe Tips
- Feel free to switch up the toppings with your favorite pizza toppers. I love making these pizzas with ham, pineapple and bacon. So delicious!
- Check the pizza at 3 minutes and cook longer, if needed. Air fryer cooking times can vary, so it’s always better to check them early and continue cooking to your desired doneness.
My Favorite Air Fryer
I currently have the Cosori Air Fryer Oven Combo 5.8 QT Max XL and I am obsessed. I love the large capacity of the fryer basket and how quickly and evenly it cooks the food. If you are a fryer newbie, I will caution you that you need to watch the food closely as you figure out the time adjustment for different recipes. It cooks faster than you’d think! Which is another reason why I love it so much. I can have recipes ready in a flash, which is a huge plus for this busy mama! All air fryers are a bit of trial and error because the cooking time isn’t exactly the same for every model.
Recipe FAQ
The key to a crispier English muffin pizza is lightly pre-toasting the muffin before adding the toppings.
No air fryer? No problem! You can make these English muffin pizzas in the oven. Just bake at 450 degrees F. for 12 minutes or until cheese is lightly golden on the edges and bubbly.
Yes, you can use frozen English muffins, but you need to thaw them completely before using them in this recipe. I prefer to thaw them in the refrigerator overnight, but you can also quick-thaw them in the microwave, wrapped in a damp paper towel. Just be sure not to heat them too long or it will affect the texture.
