Whey protein shake lovers, rejoice! I have a natural, delicious protein shake recipe for you, and I think you will love this chocolate banana whey protein shake as much as I do! This recipe is made with only four ingredients and blends-up in a snap.
I'm so excited to find a new natural whey protein that I love! I have been faithful to my BSN Lean Dessert protein for several years. However, I wanted to find a protein (just as delicious tasting) that was made with all-natural ingredients. Tera's Whey is my latest natural and delicious whey protein shake finds and I absolutely love the taste, texture, and how well it mixes in my shakes.
Tera's whey protein is made with fair trade dark chocolate, rBGH free, stevia-sweetened and it's produced in a green factory (which is a huge bonus for me). I'm loving this new protein powder, but you can absolutely substitute your favorite brand of chocolate protein powder for this recipe.

How To Freeze Bananas For Protein Shakes
I love having bananas on hand for protein shakes and my favorite protein ice cream recipe! Another summertime favorite protein ice cream recipe is this strawberry protein ice cream made with frozen strawberries and banana. So simple, delicious, and perfect on a hot summer day.
To freeze fresh bananas, just peel ripe bananas, wrap individually in plastic wrap, and place in an airtight freezer storage container for up to 3 months. Then you can just pop one out when you need it. I usually cut the banana in half before wrapping, since some of my recipes only call for half a banana.
