How To Freeze Bananas For Protein Shakes
I love having bananas on hand for protein shakes and my favorite protein ice cream recipe! Another summertime favorite protein ice cream recipe is this strawberry protein ice cream made with frozen strawberries and banana. So simple, delicious, and perfect on a hot summer day.
To freeze fresh bananas, just peel ripe bananas, wrap individually in plastic wrap, and place them in an airtight freezer storage container for up to 3 months. Then you can just pop one out when you need it. I usually cut the banana in half before wrapping, since some of my recipes only call for half a banana.
