DIY Starbucks Egg & Cheese Protein Boxes🥚🍎🧀 Great for #mealprep and kid’s lunches! I made these for my daughter last week to take to school and I love how well they keep in the fridge. Let’s keep it real... There are no shortages of detox cleanses, fad diets and extreme fitness challenges this time of year. There’s a lot of eye rolling over here at some of the advice that comes through my IG feed. It’s important to remember that the biggest changes come from the sustainable habits you adopt. A healthy and fit body is a long game. There are no short cuts (without performance enhancing drugs), it’s hard work and a lifetime of healthy habits. Otherwise, you’ll be right back where you started. Begin by doing something beneficial for your body every single day. 🌱🏋️‍♀️🧘‍♀️🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️ Start with small actionable steps that you can implement one day at a time. Build on them. Nothing crazy or extreme. Instead of thinking about what you cannot eat, shift your mentality to what you can add to your diet to nourish your body. Add plants and fiber-rich foods to every meal. 🥦🥬🥑🍓 Chose lean protein sources and healthier sources of fats. Add probiotic and prebiotic-rich foods to nourish your gut microbiome. After all, the gut is our “second brain”. Boost water intake and stay hydrated. Proper hydration makes your skin glow and improves athletic performance.💦 I promise that once you start to feel the changes from making better choices, you’ll want to keep going. Your taste buds will change. You’ll start to enjoy healthier foods and how amazing your body feels. Focus on incremental goals that are sustainable and achievable and go crush them.💥💫💪 @fightbackpr
