Notes
To sneak in some veggies and make this orange smoothie even more orange, add carrot juice! Cut half of the orange juice and replace it with fresh-pressed or store-bought carrot juice.
Using frozen fruit instead of ice cubes to chill smoothies gives them a hike in nutrients and a creamier texture, but be sure to serve the drink immediately as the blended fruit will thaw quickly.
This recipe will give you a creamy smoothie just thin enough to drink through a straw. For a thicker consistency (perhaps for a smoothie bowl), add more Greek yogurt and frozen fruit. For a thinner consistency, add more juice.
Add a drop of orange food coloring for a pop of vibrant color
