Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil *you can also use extra light olive oil or avocado oil for a more mild flavor
  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 4-5 drops Tabasco sauce
  • dash sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into a blender or Vitamix and blend until smooth.  

Notes

Nutrition information is for 1 tablespoon size serving.
  • If you don't have a blender, just add the ingredients to a mason jar or dressing cruet, seal, and shake until mixed.
  • Stir in chopped shallots or fresh herbs for a flavor twist.
  • Be sure to use a lighter mild-tasting olive oil that is fruity and balanced so it doesn't overpower the dressing for best flavor. California Olive Ranch is a good choice for dressings.
