Toss the cubed beef in a seasoned flour mixture. Then sear until browned on all sides. Transfer to slow cooker. Sauté onions and garlic and pour over the seared beef.
Stir together the wine, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.
Add the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker and pour the beef stock over the top. Cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 8 hours. Season with more salt, to taste if needed.
