Supreme Air Fryer English Muffin Pizza

A simple and tasty loaded Air Fryer English Muffins Pizza recipe that's on the table in 10 minutes or less with 20 grams of protein per serving.

Ingredients

  • 2 whole-grain English muffins I love the high-fiber whole-grain muffins for a nutrition boost
  • 4 tablespoon  pizza sauce your favorite brand or my recipe for homemade pizza sauce
  • 4 oz mozzarella cheese shredded from the block for best taste
  • 6 slices uncured pepperoni chopped. You can also use turkey pepperoni, if desired.
  • 2 tablespoon bell pepper finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon mushrooms finely chopped
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • Split the English muffins in half, lightly spray with olive oil spray, and air fry for 2 minutes to lightly toast.
  • Remove the muffins from the air fryer and top each half with a tablespoon of pizza sauce.
  • Next, top with cheese and remaining toppings.
  • Air fry 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and toppings are cooked. Work in batches, if needed, depending on the size of your air fryer basket.

Notes

  • No air fryer? No problem! You can make these English muffin pizzas in the oven. Just bake at 450 degrees F. for 12 minutes or until cheese is lightly golden on the edges and bubbly.
  • Feel free to switch up the toppings with your favorite pizza toppers. I love making these pizzas with ham, pineapple and bacon. So delicious!
  • Check the pizza at 3 minutes and cook longer, if needed. Air fryer cooking times can vary, so it's always better to check them early and continue cooking to your desired doneness.
