Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette

This easy salad dressing recipe combines balsamic vinegar, fresh garlic, extra virgin olive oil, and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon real maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
  • 1 clove of garlic mashed
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • dash hot sauce *optional

Instructions

  • Blend all of the ingredients in a salad dressing cruet or mason jar.
  • Shake and serve.

Notes

Nutrition information is for 1 tablespoon serving of dressing.
For the boldest and best flavor, use the best quality balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, and maple syrup within your budget.
Instead of dried Italian seasoning, feel free to use fresh herbs you may already have on hand (thyme, rosemary, parsley, etc).
You'll probably need to give the container a good shake or stir before each use as the oil and vinegar will naturally separate.
