how do the guests serve themselves? do they just take one at a time or should I provide a small dish for them

In reply to Kelly. Hi Kelly! If it's out for a long period of time or in a warm room the ice will start to melt. I usually put a runner underneath to absorb any condensation.

In reply to beth. It melts a bit, but stays cold long enough to serve. You can also freeze the bowl prior to serving.
