Rubbed sweet potato wedges are a healthy appetizer, perfect for serving on game day or as a party snack.
Recently, I received the Spring edition box from SpicePanda, including a sweet and spicy Vermont Maple Spice Blend, that I used in this easy appetizer recipe. In each box from SpicePanda, you’ll receive gourmet spice blends to enhance your favorite recipes. If you are in need of cooking inspiration, you’ll receive a recipe card for each item in your box, and let me tell you they sound amazing!
Disclosure: I received this item for review, free of charge. All opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
A recipe for rubbed sweet potato wedges came with my spring box. Simple and delicious, SpicePanda’s gourmet spice kits are created around a certain theme. The spring box has a “story and place” theme. Included in this box, each spice maker shares how a story or place shaped their featured spice blend.
One of my favorite things about traveling is trying new foods that are unique to that area. It’s really fun to discover new food creations and different methods of cooking. SpicePanda brings you something new and unique with each box, from all around the globe.
The Vermont maple spice blend is the perfect seasoning for this healthy rubbed sweet potato wedges recipe.
Rubbed Sweet Potato Wedges
- 3 large sweet potatoes,sliced into 8 lengthwise wedges
- 3 tbsp peanut oil (I used olive oil)
- 1 tbsp Vermont Maple Blend (you can also use a mixture of half maple sugar and half smoked paprika)
- Kosher salt, to taste
Toss wedges in oil to coat.
Rub Vermont Maple Blend onto wedges.
Grill over medium heat for 10 minutes, total, or until all sides are cooked through.
