In reply to <a href="https://ameessavorydish.com/kitty-litter-cake/comment-page-1/#comment-32743">Amy G</a>.

Hi Amy! Cake manufacturers have changed the sizes of their mixes since I originally posted this recipe. I need to go revisit this with the new box sizes, but I found this online that seems to work for people that are using recipes that call for the 18.25oz mixes.
To upsize white and yellow cake mixes:
1 ½ C all-purpose flour
1 C sugar
2 t baking powder
¼ t baking soda
To upsize chocolate mixes:
1 C and 2 T all-purpose flour
1 C sugar
6 T cocoa powder
2 t baking powder
1/4 t baking soda
Whisk all dry ingredients together and store in a clean mason jar.
When you wish to increase a 15.25 ounce cake mix to 18.25 ounces, add 3 ounces of this mix to your existing cake mix.
Store the remainder in a tightly closed container, like a glass canning jar with a lid, on the pantry shelf.
I'm glad that everyone enjoyed it!!

I finally made this last night. The cake boxes are 15oz, not 18oz as un the recipe so even though I didn’t use all of the pudding, it was still a bit too much. I used vanilla cake and chocolate cake. And I highly recommend two packs of golden Oreos.

It went over much better than expected. I didn’t think anyone would eat it but many did. It was delish!!
