Hi Kathryn! The crockpot will make them too soft. You want the caramelization from the oven roasting process for best taste/texture. You could toss the green beans in EVOO and roast them at 400 for 20-25 minutes (no pre-boiling) and toss with the glaze for the last 15 minutes of cooking then top with cooked crumbled bacon for an easier large batch process. I haven&#039;t tested this out, but that&#039;s how I would modify. If you try it, let me know how it turns out! I have a recipe for roasted carrots and green beans that explains the green bean roasting process if that helps. Happy Easter!]]></description>
