My favorite protein shake is creamy, packed with chocolate flavor and a boost of protein, dairy free, and it’s delicious!
I love a healthy protein shake after a good workout. Our bodies need the protein to help build lean muscle mass. There are MANY protein powders on the market and I have tried a LOT of them, but the two below are my favorites.

What you’ll need to make this chocolate banana protein shake recipe:
1 scoop BSN lean dessert chocolate fudge pudding protein powder (or Tera’s Whey chocolate protein)
3 ice cubes
1/2 frozen banana (I peel, slice in half and freeze bananas in zip top freezer bags for my shakes)
8 oz coconut water
8 oz 45 calorie almond breeze chocolate almond milk
1 packet truvia.
Making my favorite protein shake is as easy as the breeze! Just put everything into a blender and process until it’s smooth and creamy. If you want the consistency to be thicker, like a milk shake, add more ice.
- 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
- 3 ice cubes
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 8 oz coconut water
- 8 oz chocolate almond milk
- 1 packet truvia.
- Place all ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. For a thicker consistency, add more ice. For a thinner consistency, add more coconut water.
