Fit Features of the Week

The winner for the most popular recipe from Fit and Fabulous Fridays this week goes to Living Crunchy for these healthy Paleo Almond Breakfast Cookies!  I can’t wait to try this one!

Paleo recipes seem to be quite popular on my site, lately.  Living Crunchy features a lot of great Paleo dishes, so please stop by for more fabulous inspiration.  Before staying home with her boys, Katie worked in health care at a children’s hospital and a holistic health center.  She now inspires us through her lovely blog to live a greener and healthier lifestyle. Not to mention, her little taste-tester is pretty darn cute!

My highlighted recipe of the week goes to Gluten Free SCD and Veggie for this gorgeous Grain Free Raspberry Ripple Cake!  This cake makes such a beautiful presentation. I love the fresh raspberry sauce used for the ripple and the topping.  This is one cake that you won’t feel guilty about eating!

I would love a big slice right now!  Please stop by Gluten Free SCD and Veggie for more healthy treats.  Vicky is a blogging mom from the UK that features wonderful vegetarian, gluten free and SCD recipes (the SCD stands for Specific Carbohydrate Diet).  Vicky starting cooking this way after her son was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 2006.  She has seen the impact this diet has made in the health of her family and is now helping and inspiring others by sharing her creations.

I hope that you have enjoyed my Fit Features this week.  Please don’t forget to stop by Fit and Fabulous Fridays and browse all of the healthy recipes that my friends have shared.  They are all amazing!  Have a wonderful week and stay inspired!
